Code of Conduct

1.Our Commitment

Social Social Club is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all participants. This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, hosts, committee members, and venue staff during the event and in related event communications.

2.Expected Behaviour

All participants are expected to:

• • Respect all participants. Treat everyone with courtesy regardless of their background, identity, or personality.
• • Be inclusive. Help create an environment where everyone, including quieter or solo participants, feels welcome.
• • Participate positively. Engage with activities in good faith and encourage others.
• • Follow host and venue instructions. Hosts and venue staff are there to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• • Drink responsibly. Controlled free-flow beer is provided. Do not engage in dangerous drinking or pressure others to drink.

3.Prohibited Behaviour

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

• • Harassment of any kind, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment.
• • Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• • Unwanted physical contact. Always ask for and respect consent.
• • Aggressive behaviour, intimidation, or threats.
• • Dangerous drinking or encouraging others to drink excessively.
• • Property damage to the venue or others' belongings.
• • Pressuring anyone to drink alcohol. Participation in activities does not require drinking.
• • Sharing another participant's contact information or personal details without their explicit consent.
• • Recording or photographing participants who have opted out of event photography.

4.Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct:

• • Speak to any SSC committee member or host at the event
• • Approach the registration desk for immediate assistance
• • Contact Social Social Club after the event through the Contact page

All reports will be taken seriously and handled confidentially.

5.Consequences

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

• • A verbal warning from event hosts
• • Removal from the event without refund
• • Refusal of entry to future Social Social Club events
• • Reporting to relevant authorities in cases of illegal behaviour

Social Social Club reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation. Our priority is the safety and comfort of all participants.
